I'll do a really detailed DR later, but I am very, very happy that April stayed. I just genuinely like her as a player even though we haven't talked as much as of late. She's still one of the people who I think would make one of my best allies down the road. I guess I consider Aisleyne and Sophie potential allies, even though they likely both just kept me safe to assure that Lydia went home and they may not want to work with me down the road.
Recently I've been talking a lot more to Aaron than anyone else. And guess what? Aaron won HoH! So it's a question of, were our recent conversations enough for him to keep me off the block? I intend to talk to him later in the day and find out, but I'm extremely nervous about this round once again. It'll be a test because Aaron is one of the players I consider closest to, so if he puts me on the block, it could mean my game just wasn't great.
I think being against Jen gives me the best chance of staying in the game personally, if I do go up. But I'm still nervous.

Okay, so shockingly, I'm finding alliance offers being thrown at me right now. I suppose I really am back in this game, and I'm excited because I can play between two alliances and perhaps make it a few rounds further assuming that I do not get caught. I'll post a larger update in a few days.

I vote to evict Ragan. Reason: I want an alliance, and this is what they're doing. I hope it works.
Goodbye Message to Dino: Sorry, we just never really talked. It's unfortunate you went home though. Good game!
Goodbye Message to Ragan: I liked you. Sorry we stopped talking, and good game.

When I saw that Aaron won HoH, I wasn't sure what to expect. The two of us had talked a fair amount, so I thought I might be safe but wasn't positive. I approached Sophie asking her for an update on what was going on, and she told me that Aaron was nominating Dino and Ragan and that this was essentially the beginning of sides forming in the house. She was nervous about the possibility of being backdoored, and I assured her that I was with her and would do what I could to work with her, feed her information, and keep her safe. The sides that she was talking about were apparently a group of newbies led by Aaron against the veteran team including Dino, Ragan, and Sophie who were teamed up with Aisleyne. She told me that Aaron, by nominating Dino and Ragan, had essentially made the first move.
I then talked to Aaron who told me he had the support from the majority of the cast, except from Aisleyne, to vote for Dino with those nominations. I agreed with him and told him that I supported them. At the same time, my alliance felt that Dino was a stronger competitor and would rather have keep him in the game than Dino. I was happy to be drawn for veto, and then I was literally thrilled to find it was a skill-based challenge that I didn't have the disadvantage of being a have not on, like the previous veto where I got 2nd to Sophie. I consider myself to be very strong at skill-based challenges that don't involve distorted images, so I put in my best effort, and won.
I think winning this veto was the happiest I've been the entire game. I know that I was slacking socially and hadn't made enough connections to be comfortable, so everyone was probably like, "WTF, who is Drew, and how did he end up winning veto?" I really felt like this moment proved that I was playing the game, and I went to Aaron and made sure that he was comfortable with me leaving nominations the same. He was, although I implied that I'd vote for Dino. I then went to Aisleyne and Sophie, who I consider my closest allies, to make sure that they were fine with me leaving the nominations the same. They were. So I posted my decision and hoped to keep everyone safe and comfortable with me.
Then it was time for the eviction. Sophie told me that she heard Brian and James were upset with Aaron for not having the veto used and backdooring her. I guess that I believe Sophie, although she may be trying to trick me into believing that she's more vulnerable than she actually is. When it was time to vote, at first it looked like Aaron's plan to take out Dino might actually work. However, I think it was Aisleyne primarily who approached Brian, James, and Sarah and convinced them to change their votes to Dino. Only April and Michelle kept their original agreements with Aaron to vote for Dino. So, Ragan went home 6-2 which left the stronger competitor of Dino in the game and hopefully on my side. Jen, of course, didn't vote.
